The False Idols are a psych-indie three-piece, formed in Swansea and now based in Bristol. The band is Dylan Webster (vocals, bass), Dylan Williams (guitars) and Aaron van Wyk (drums).

Reverb-heavy, spacious guitars with hooks that land. Early Verve crossed with early Kasabian, played loud.

They have built a following either side of the Severn, with headline shows at The Bunkhouse in Swansea and The Louisiana in Bristol, and a sold out night at The Social in London.

Debut single 'Through The Storm' was released on 10th July 2026 via Echo Bass Records. The song came from a dream one of the band had during a difficult time, and it is about finding hope and coming through the dark. Mixed by Michael Smith (Wolf Alice) and mastered by Andy 'Hippy' Baldwin (Oasis, Blur, Stormzy) at Metropolis Studios, London.
