Echo Bass Records brings four guitar bands to East Street for one night. Psych, Britpop, post punk and indie rock on a single bill, with the label's own The False Idols making their Brighton debut ahead of their first EP in 2027.
Fukushima Dolphin A high energy duo mixing indie, rock and electronics with psychedelic elements, built around founder, singer and guitarist Josh Butler and drummer Alex. Their sound moves between brooding atmosphere and explosive riffs, drawing on New Order, Neil Young, MGMT and Radiohead, and they released the single Space Lift earlier this year. Happy Neighbours Happy Neighbours blend hazy shoegaze and psychedelia with the playful pop of Blur's Leisure era. Formed during lockdown and sharpened in small venues, the four piece take cues from Blur, The La's and Oasis, and their EP Southbank to Battersea followed a breakout set at the 100 Club. The Faith Estate An indie rock outfit whose mix of classic rock drive and modern indie flair is gaining momentum fast. The young Indie-rock band averaging 21, blend ‘60s and ‘90's influences with Madchester, and Merseybeat—think Oasis meets The Stone Roses. Coming from humble beginnings, they’ve built their buzz through sheer graft and talent.
In 2024, they owned stages at YNOT Festival (4,000 fans), Isle of Wight, and Manchester Academy 2, supporting big names such as The Bluetones and The Twang. Their single “History” nabbed airplay on BBC Radio 6 and Radio X, earning nods from The Line of Best Fit and The Independent. RGM Magazine hails them as “a band on the cusp of something big.”

Subterrania Four-piece from Swansea, South Wales. Formed in spring 2023 at a hometown open mic night, the band—frontman Dylan Cai, guitarist Fin Roach, bassist Jamie Tooze, and drummer Luis Hancock—clicked instantly, forging a bond that pulses through every live show. Drawing from ‘90s Britpop and indie giants like Oasis and Blur, they’ve carved out a gritty, groove-laden sound that’s distinctly their own.
