Sunset Ruins officially formed in October 2024 after what was a writing/recording project between frontman/rhythm guitarist Lee Poole & lead guitarist Sam Coe for a couple of years working on the demos Lee had written.
The duo had worked on 27 songs at Sam’s home recording space and had a vision for what they wanted but the stars hadn’t aligned just yet as they hadn’t found the right rhythm section they knew the songs deserved.

This all changed in late 2024 when Lee contacted drummer Reece Bradbury who had played in Lee’s previous band The Front.
Reece jumped at the chance to work with Lee again as their musical (and personal) bond had a rich history.
A chance meeting with an old school friend Freddie Dray (bass) led to the 4 musicians jamming at their South London rehearsal room and forming into a fierce powerhouse of a unit.

The songs took on a new life with the addition of the rhythm section and after 6 months of rehearsing the band felt it was time to record their debut single.

Mastered by Andy ‘Hippy’ Baldwin (Oasis/Blur) at Metropolis, the anthem epitomises the spirit of the band - loud, fast and in your face.

With the power of the Pistols and the swagger of the Stones, these South London rock and rollers are set to take their place at the forefront of the scene.
